Project B is still going strong. We are thankful for the opportunity to regularly lead the young people in activities and discussion, developing faith and introducing them to new ideas and music – and learning plenty along the way ourselves!
Weekends away
Unite
We are looking forward to this year’s Unite festival / mini-camp over the May Half Term Bank Holiday weekend. As last year there will be plenty of activities on offer (football, craft, lip sync battles, inflatables, village capture the flag, discos, archery,… the list goes on)as well as several worship sessions – all within 48 hours! We can’t wait!
Beverley
The circuit is organising a circuit youth trip away to Beverley in October which will be packed with activities.
Youth Services
We have now been part of 3 quarterly youth services, the latest of which was at Bilton Area Methodist Church on April 1st exploring the theme of Sin and Salvation. Starbeck worship band played, and there were worship stations and even bunnies and guinea pigs to pet – all thematic of course!
The next youth service is at Woodlands on 15th July at 16.00. Please join us for a slightly different worship experience.
New Members
ProjectB is open to any young person in year 7 or above. Please help us to spread the word; tell anyone you know about us and encourage them to come down on the 1st or 3rd Sunday of the month, 19.00-21.00, or contact us by email at projectb.youthgroup@hotmail.com to see what we get up to.
Help wanted!
We are looking for helpers to provide the Project B young people with a broad experience of faith and life, and to give them the input they ask for with the subject matters close to them. We’re not only looking for people to lead or help on a Sunday night (although if you’d like to we’d be thrilled!), we’d also appreciate any help with ideas for ways to expand the experience of Project B, whether it is getting us involved with events, ways in which we can engage with circuit, or new topics to cover in our regular Sunday meetings. If you are interested in helping us we’re sure we’ll be able to find a way for you to help! Just speak to Mark, Vicki, or Dave or email us at projectb.youthgroup@hotmail.com.
Please pray for all involved, both young people and leaders, as we learn more about God together.
