With regret, November will be the last Tea ‘N’ Chat for the foreseeable future.George and I will be moving to Lincolnshire to be with our family.

Both George and I started Tea ‘N’ Chat in 2010. Our first afternoon was visited by 25 people. Our prayers were answered as it’s been a wonderful journey with joy, laughter, compassion, friendship and generosity.

Friendships have been made and blossomed as no one is ever left to sit on their own. There has been so many examples of generosity from setting up tables and chairs, cups and saucers even before Chris Robson and I arrived to set the tables. Wonderful baking diaries printed, piano played. Chris joined George and I at the birth of Tea ‘N’ Chat and her commitment to it is to be commended.

Our first do, has Ann Hoole and Chris Binks joining us, followed by Molly Dean then along came Joyce Routh and Shirley Clapham. From everyone who came to Tea ‘N’ Chat, we give you our utmost gratitude.

For the Church Family, you have been part of our life for 21 years. You have all been generous to us both, in so many ways. Starbeck Methodist Church is a very special Church, love, kindness generous in spirit and friendship, Our hearts will always be with you all.

God Blessings to you all.
