For those who don’t know me, my name is Alexie Neville, I am 19 and a Leader at 1st Harrogate Girls Brigade based here at Starbeck.
As some of you may or may not know, about 3 months ago I applied for a once in a lifetime trip with Girls Brigade England & Wales to go to Ghana in Africa to what is called The Gathering 2017, occurring on the 5-12th of August next year. This is where all companies and girls come together from throughout the world and share their brigade experiences and discuss this year’s theme of empowerment to women! The Interview I had went extremely well, so well infact that I have been chosen to attend The Gathering 2017! I am absolutely over the moon and so excited to be going!
