Doctors without borders was founded in 1971 and helps to save lives in around 60 countries where ever there is conflict, natural disasters or epidemics. They are a humanitarian, non governmental organisation and are committed to independence neutrality and impartiality.
Their name is not always mentioned when world disasters strike, but their work is invaluable for those who receive their humanitarian care and treatment.
They do have a web site or you can look at the Church Charity notice board, for more information. You can also help us raise funds by attending a coffee morning to be held on 28th October 2017, and/ or coming to our Christmas Fair on 18th November 2017.
